Happy Holidays!
The end of the year is a natural time to reflect not just on your goals, but what you do with them.

We’re coming to the end of our first year selling StratSimple, and we’re genuinely excited about what we’ve accomplished and where we’re going. Our story in numbers:
We’ve engaged with over 7,000 participants through virtual interview surveys.
We’re supporting 30+ nonprofits as they build and manage their strategic plans.
We’ve built an awesome network of 40+ partner consultants we trust to deliver high-quality strategic plans.
To everyone who has given us advice, provided product feedback, made an introduction, or worked with us on a project: THANK YOU.
And a happy new year…
It’s also that time of year when people start thinking about New Year’s resolutions. I’ve been thinking about how often I see friends and family set personal goals with no structure to maintain progress and then act surprised when the results never show up.
How often do you see your friends and family do the following?
Take the time to reflect on the process they used to set their goals
Honestly evaluate their performance
Reflect on what went well, and what should change going forward
Make a commitment to change their approach based on what they learned
I can count on one hand how many times I’ve seen friends or family do that, because it’s ONE FINGER – P.S. that man is Alan Czysz, the co-founder of StratSimple, so if you’ve ever wondered how we build so much, so fast, you now know our secret!
Fortunately, in our work lives, more organizations are realizing this is the only sustainable way to improve performance: build iteration and agility into how you work. If you don’t have it on your calendar already, now is the time to schedule an end-of-year retrospective with your team. Get everyone together, ask the questions above, and document the answers. Then use what you learn to refine and build out your goals for 2026 (hopefully in StratSimple!)
What’s coming in 2026
We’re just getting started and looking forward to accelerating our progress in expanding high quality planning to even more mission-driven orgs, this is just a sneak peek of features on deck for the coming year:
Enhanced support for linking multi-year aspirational plans with year-by-year annual plans
Additional support for bringing unstructured data from interviews and focus groups into the system
Dashboards for our consultant partners to more easily manage their portfolio of clients
More automation to make setting up surveys and goals easier
Enhanced intelligence to make goal setting and survey coaching even better
Automated onboarding assistance to make things even more intuitive for new users
